The Finnish Science Foundation for Technology and Economics (KAUTE) has chosen our CEO and Founder Prateek Singh as the Young Researcher Entrepreneur of 2020. The Young Researcher Entrepreneur prize is awarded to a person who has developed a new research-based business. The aim of the prize is to promote researchers in Finnish Universities to start new companies. The award amounts to EUR 5,000.
“Persistence is the biggest common trait between a researcher and an entrepreneur. Publishing research takes forever, so you can’t give up. As an entrepreneur achieving results doesn’t necessarily take that long but you often have to do 10 years worth of work in 2 years. Because resources are limited in the beginning, you have to take up different roles. Constant learning happens both as an entrepreneur and researcher”
